Busy life = minimal updates! I sorry!

What's new, what's happening, what's up?!

So let's see... I started at Best Buy, and I must say...it's pretty freaking sweet. I am getting used to the position I was placed in, and trying to find what works best for me. I've only worked 4 days, so I'm still new :) I'm hoping that this weekend coming up I can get a good number of upgrade checks, and make my boss happy! I went home last Saturday after work, went out with John, and had a really cool weekend after that!

I went to visit my grandparents that Sunday, and hung out with them for a bit. It was quite a comical experience, but I love them, so I wasn't doing anything to upset them...just making my parents laugh :) After we left there, I went home and waited for John to give me the okay to come by. We left his house, and headed to F1 racing in Braintree...that place is INSANE! It was so much fun! It was his friend's birthday, so there were like 20+ of us racing...not at once, but our group size was intense :) Once we left there, we went to this restaurant called Bamboo... its a chinese/japanese restaurant...WICKED good food..then again we were all starving so anything would have tasted good...after we left the fun and excitement we went out for our own drinks, and went to our favorite watering hole! Margaritas! :) it was so nice :)

The following day we went out for breakfast and spent a majority of the day together. We went costume shopping, and I ended finding one that's not my style, but works for our theme...it's only for one night, so I can't complain :) Monday was also my parents' 24th wedding anniversary :) their love is such an inspiration to me, I Love them both! :)

Tuesday night, I took John out to dinner...because he's always taking care of me! We went to Kreuger's ... a wicked good flatbread place...omg..haha :) Then we went home & instead of doing my own homework, I helped John with his grades for his  classes so he could submit them for progress reports :)

This past weekend, I worked at Best Buy Friday and Saturday, and then Saturday night, I took John to the Celtic's Game! It was supposed to be a surprise, but clearly that didn't stay too long...mehhh hahah We had a great time at the game, they won! :)

In other news, I'm doing really well in my classes this semester! I'm pushing to make dean's list, because I really want to do well this semester! Keep your fingers crossed! <3

its been a while!

So...to recap the past 3 weeks...lets see...

on the 25th of September, Mom did a benefit show for the veterans of NH. One of the songs she does, a cover of Joan Baez's Forever Young, makes me weep like a baby EVERY time. Well, sure enough, she sang it that Saturday. I couldn't keep it together! neither could she! haha :) its a mother daughter bond that definitely wont be  broken! :) <3

The 25th was also my 7 month-a-versary with John <3 We went to breakfast before heading up to see Mom's show. the night before, we went to our FAVORITE bar, Margaritas, and celebrated into the early hours of the morning. After, we drove up to the beach, and had some quiet, alone time. God was that needed!

On September 30th, John took me to see Wicked! To say this show was amazing would not be giving it enough credit! This show blew me away...I was so happy that we got to go out and do something like this...we needed a night out! I got all dressed up...and to say John was impressed would probably sum it up :)

The following Saturday, John came to visit me at school :) We had a nice relaxing movie night...that was perfect!

Sunday, I went to Katie's to get some work done for our World War II exam tomorrow...iiickk :( Then i got a call from Best Buy telling me that I have training Tuesday (TODAY)...cool!

Well, I think that catches us up! :) I'm off to grab dinner with Chris, my old floor partner! :) Then off to best buy till 9...then back here to get crackin on some studying!  thanks for reading!!!

UPDATE

Here's the deal peeps...if I have a bad day, I'm not posting it on here. This blog is a positive look at school, not the negative crap. So, if there's a day missing, assume it wasn't one worth writing about!

Friday was fun. I slept for a bit, worked for a bit, hung out at work for a bit, and then went to run errands! I went to Wal-Mart and Target...then came back and cleaned up around here. John came down to visit and took me out to Mee King for a scorpion bowl and some grub. We came back here and passed out!

Saturday I went home..I had to babysit..then Kyle, John, and I went to TGI Fridays at home for drinks (not for Kyle...) John came in the house and we snuggled on the couch...we fell asleep for a few minutes and then realized we shud prob go to bed, in our respective beds, to avoid getting in trouble...

Today, I went to church with my parents, then to the parish picnic.I went home, packed up my stuff and came back. After a nap, I watched the Patriots suffer a disgusting loss..then I unpacked my stuff and got ready to head to dinner with Heather! Dinner was definitely something to remember! haha :)

Night world!

Wednesday -- the usual :)

Wednesday was MUCH better than Monday and Tuesday, emotionally. That's a huge plus. Here's how the day unfolded..

I ended up waking up a little later than I wanted to, so I emailed work and told them I would be in an hour from the time I got up. They were understanding and told me it was fine. I got myself ready for the day and headed to admissions. I walked in and did the mail (its my main job there...on top of being student supervisor..) and did it in about a half hour. I left after I had done the mail, because I had to finish reading for my class this afternoon.

I headed to the commuter cafe to get some homework done. I had my headphones in and I was in the zone. I got a large chunk of reading done, which was great because it was already stuff that my professor had covered in class, I just had to read it for background. Katie ended up meeting me for lunch, and we headed to class afterwards. I had to grab (finally) a drop my minor form, so I did :)

We got to class and took our respective seats. We were maybe sitting in the classroom for like...10 minutes and realized the room was a sauna...and that was with the door open. To say we were a bit uncomfortable would be an understatement. My professor, at 1:50 when class starts, SHUT THE DOOR to the classroom...now we were really suffocating. Kids trickled in as class started, and there was an open desk in front of me (I sit in the back). A kid I had a class with a few semesters ago sat in front of me. I instantly realized why I didn't like him...aside from being incredibly smelly, he was one of those pompous jerks who thinks they know everything! It was a tough class..to say the least..after another 6 pages of notes, he let us go about 45 minutes early.

When we opened that door to the classroom...it was like walking into a walk-in freezer! It was the most glorious feeling, ever. Katie and I left the library laughing about the kid in front of me..because (and sure, I might have been a little mean..) he raised his hand to answer a question and my professor (who I've had before and LOVE) shut him right down.

After parting ways, I headed back to East. I got here and started on homework right away. I wanted to be done before 2 am. I wrote half of my 2 page paper and then started to look over the stuff I need for tomorrow's Spanish test. After breezing through that, I looked at the clock...it had magically gone from 6pm to 7pm...why so fast? BECAUSE I FELL ASLEEP! ... damn it! It's okay though, because  I ended up getting up, putting on my man pants, and finishing all my work.. here it is 8:30, and I'm already done all of my work due tomorrow, and studied twice for my Spanish exam. I'm smelling as close to a 3.0 as I can get this semester :) the GREATEST feeling in the world...let me tell you!

Well, after a rather exciting Wednesday, I am going to reward myself with a movie curled up in bed :) and after my movie, I get my nightly phone call :) I am praying I get to see John this weekend...after the week I've had so far, the only thing I want is to see him.... here's hoping! ;) maybe i'll use my cuteness to see if he can come visit this weekend :)

I hope everyone has a great night, and I will update tomorrow!! :)

"Staggered into Tuesday...Man I Got the Blues day...I need some good news..."

Donnie Wahlberg couldn't have said it any better than that. Thanks DDub!

Today was nothing special. Spanish and Lit. I was almost late for Lit because everyone and their mother decided hey...its 1045 LETS ALL USE THE COMPUTERS IN MOAKLEY! ... then the printer jammed when I was trying to print my paper..oh what a day!

I have been doing homework since 2:30 this afternoon...I have gotten a lot accomplished, and hope to keep up this homework streak, except interject some fun stuff too. Let's hope tomorrow is a better day...off to finish some more work...

Sunday And Monday

Sunday:

After a restless night, I finally got up and got some of my stuff packed up. I had to figure out an outfit for the wake, and had to start getting my car packed. I helped mom make dinner, and enjoyed a home cooked meal. Nothing better than the patriot's home opener and a home cooked meal! After dinner, mom and I went to the wake...definitely not a wake I had ever been to before. I was expecting the traditional casket and flowers everywhere...when we got to where her body was, there was only an urn and two pictures of her. The room was buzzing with people, just how Donna would have wanted it. We miss you Donna, thank you for gracing our lives with your warmth and friendship!

After the wake I went home and finished packing my car. I went with my parents to JayGees and had some ice cream, it was one of those days. John met me there so he could see me before I left. This meant more to me than I think anything all weekend. All he wanted was to see me before I came back to school. I love him so much, and I kept reminding him. I love you  baby ♥

Once I got back, I ran a book to a friend and then grabbed some food. After that, headed back to watch the VMAs, which, in my opinion were boring and not as exciting as i remember the VMAs. After they were over,  I got ready for bed and talked to John for a bit.

Monday:

I woke up, 9 am. I had to be at work at 9...So i got up, got myself dressed, and headed to work. I hung out for a bit, labeling folders with "early action" stickers...probably one of my all-time favorite jobs...I keep to myself and do my work. Once the mail came in, I was like a kid in a candy store! I am trained to do a little of everything there, but I was so happy to be back doing my mail! I left work at around 12 and went to the Registrar's office...I need a drop your minor they suck form...they told me to go to the academic achievement center...okay great, i'll do that another day. They were OH so pleasant..nahhhht

I had lunch, ran to CVS, and made my slow return to East. I got back and all I wanted to do was nap..I couldn't really get a good nap in today, had a little bit too much on the brain today...but I'm sure I'll get one in tomorrow. I grabbed dinner, and got some homework done. I also managed to catch the season finale of Rizzoli & Isles...oh my LORD i can't wait till next season!!! :)

Aside from that...nothing really eventful today...just been a weird day, but tomorrow will be so much better!

One relaxing day :)

Dave &  Busters was cut rather short last night. By the time we got there, it was 1215ish and we were lost. We had to walk around the mall itself and then try to find an open door...what a trip! By the time we got into the mall and up to Dave & Busters, it was 1240ish...

John went up to the bartender and asked if they were still serving...they were no longer serving food, but they were serving booze. SCORE! We had a drink and just enjoyed each other's company. Even though we saw each other last week, it felt like we hadn't seen each other in a long time. We finished up our drinks and headed back to my room. After about a half hour, we passed out...

Today, we just hung around. Once we realized it was 2 o'clock this afternoon, we kind of panicked...We had to leave! I packed up my stuff and tried to do so in a quick manner. We got to our cars & decided we wanted to stop at Dunkin's. I got my cider, John his coffee. I let John try the cider...and I swear his eyes rolled in the back of his head! :)

We parted ways after getting gas. We got home at about the same time. I'm looking to hang out with Kelly tonight, who I haven't seen since Memorial Day...and head up to Hampton. Maybe grab some beach pizza :) I'll come home and head to bed. Church in the morning then dinner & Donna's wake...

Friday!

Not too much to report today!

I woke up a little later than I wanted to, but I blame that on my lack of sleep from last night. I got myself ready and headed off to find the facility where I was supposed to take my drug test...

When I got in the car, I realized that my GPS was not there...it's at home...great place for it, really...so I improvised and used an app on my phone to get me there...after a half hour of driving around looking for the place (and a few u-turns and bad words later), I found it. I was a little nervous, because I've never had to do something like this before. I walked in and waited to be called. They took me into the back and had me fill out paperwork. Once I was done that, they handed me the cup, and said...go...I got stage fright..and then proceeded to pee on my hand...it eventually made it into the cup :)

Once I left there, I headed back to campus. I stopped at Dunkin' Donuts to get a new iced apple cider. DELICIOUS. I squealed a little, it was so good!

I came back to my room and just hung around...watched some TV...then got bored so I went to Marshall's...prob my favorite store next to TJMaxx :) funny, same company...

After a few hours I came back and cleaned up my room! I then proceeded to disinfect it because I don't want any germs. Once I was satisfied with my room, I showered and got myself ready. John is on his way as we speak and we're heading to Dave & Busters :) first time for both of us...glad we can experience it together! <3 Have a great night everyone! Thanks for reading!

Thursday...what a day!

Ashley slept over last night, which was awesome because  I haven't been able to see much of her lately with school and work and stuff...

After we got up, we got ready and went to breakfast. After a quick breakfast, Ashley and I parted our separate ways. I ran off to class to be a half hour early...I really have the best luck this semester...notttt! It's okay though. I got to class, set up my stuff, and just got myself organized. After a grueling hour and fifteen minutes, Spanish class was over! Thank god! I headed off to my Literature class, and literally wrote 3 paragraphs on a quiz and started to brainstorm. I LOVE that class!

After Lit I went to lunch with Katie G! We enjoyed Crimson, as we do Tues-Thurs this semester, and just laughed about my sheer inability to be normal :) After leaving Crimson, I went to the involvement fair! But not before I ran into Kristen & Alysha! I really miss them :( We caught up for a few minutes and then went our separate ways. I wanted to check out the involvement fair and what was new and exciting on campus. I wanted to get involved this semester, because I have so much free time...but that didn't go as planned :(

I walked over to the new sorority table, Delta Phi Epsilon, to see what they were all about...I was interested when I heard they were coming to campus, so I had to talk to them and see what the deal was. I got a ton of information and when I got back to my room, I was crushed...my GPA, yet again, screws me. Hopefully I can rush in the spring, and enjoy it for a semester...we shall see! Always an upside here!

After that, I came back to my room and started to look at graduate schools. I have it narrowed to 4, and will start applying this weekend, then wait to get some $$ for the applications...the apps seem a little more broad than undergrad, but I just glanced at them, so I can't say for sure. But I'm excited! I have also started looking at apartments, to see what's out there and what I want in an apartment, and where I want to live!

Once I was done all of the above, I decided to take a nap. As I was climbing into bed, my phone rang. :) Nothing better than an afternoon call from the best guy in the whole world. Just wanted to say hi and catch up about the day, which to me is probably one of the best things I could have asked for these past few days. After that though, I took an epic nap. Woke up to realize it was late, and that I had dinner plans with Katie P, so I got up, fixed my hair, and was off! It was so great to catch up with her! Not to mention that while at dinner, my old floor partner, Chris, happened to be in crimson! That's three times today! Then Laura D came over and said heyy :) I really miss a few people I used to work with!

I came back after a relaxing dinner and started to get some homework done. Once 8 pm rolled around, however, I had to stop what I was doing and watch Vampire Diaries! This show is my sick obsession and I am so happy it's back! Not to mention the fact that it was SUCH a great episode! Tonight got a bajillion times better, until I checked facebook...

When I was in high school, I used to work for a child enrichment school, known as little Sprouts (yes, the "L" is lowercase). There was a woman who was friends with the owner and would occasionally do little work shops for the employees. She was diagnosed with cancer a few years back, and unfortunately, last night lost her battle. She was always full of life and a very positive person. Every time I came into contact with her, she was very polite and fun. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers tonight.

Also, as cheesy as this is going to sound, one of my favorite boy bands growing up, was the Boston based band LFO. The lead singer, Rich, was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia in 2005. It went into remission, but in 2008 came back. He had a stem cell procedure, and was hospitalized a few days ago. He had a stroke and was experiencing leg pains. I haven't found anything on what exactly caused his death, but theres rumors that it was the cancer. Anyway, he passed away yesterday as well...I happened to find out when the mass and burial will be, and where he will be buried...I plan on paying my respects, judge all you want!

Anyway, that was today. Tomorrow is going to be filled with sheer enjoyment...I have to go get a drug test done for Best Buy, and then come back here and fumigate my room! John is coming down tomorrow night, thank god, and as of right now, I have NO idea what we're doing...I'll have to do some serious thinking! Anyway, thats all for me! I am going to finish up some homework and hit the hay! Have a great night everyone!!!

Quote of the Day today....

"No matter how careful you are, there's going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn't experience it all. There's that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should've been paying attention.
Well, get used to that feeling. That's how your whole life will feel some day.
This is all practice."

Longest Update EVER

Friday, I ran a few errands and got the camper ready to head up to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. My parents and I left around 1 and go there around 3ish. We go into some traffic, but nothing too bad. Once we got up to OOB, we set up the camper and started dinner. We were STARVING! Mom had made american chop suey :) so yum! For the rest of the night, we just hung around and played cards. Just a sweet relaxing night.

Saturday, was a little more fun! We got up, had breakfast, and headed for the trolley to take us into downtown. Once we were there, we walked around in and out of all the cute little shops. I bought myself two pairs of sweatpants....MAN sweatpants..which now translate to MAN PANTS :) I was thrilled! Seeing as I wasn't feeling well, I wanted something that I could lounge around in. For lunch, we went to the Pier, which was probably one of the coolest places to eat! You're sitting over the ocean, and can feel the waves when they crash against the stilts! We stopped off at mom's favorite candy store and bought some fudge and some turtles. Mom loves those!  Once we got back Saturday, dad and I took our usual camping naps. Once I got up, we ate dinner and hung around for the night, starting with a campfire.

Sunday was more of a kicking around day. We went into town to a bagel shop my parents raved about the last time they went up there...when we got there...there were no bagels left! :( So we improvised with muffins instead :) The muffins were for breakfast on Monday. We got back Sunday afternoon and played cards for a bit (I wore my man pants! ;) haha) Dad took a nap and I worked on some homework! I'm motivated this semester to get my GPA up so I can start applying to grad schools! So scary! :)

Monday, we left the camp. We headed to Kittery to the outlets! Nothing a girl loves more than the outlets! We walked into the hilfiger store and I was in heaven! it smelled SO good! Not to mention some pretty sweet styles! :) I ended up buying 2 shirts...one was 7.87 or something! Clearance! :) From there we continued to walk down the strip. I walked into Coach and bought a wristlet for 30 bucks! Shopping never felt so good! Mom and dad walked into Brookstone and bought Nana & Grandad their christmas present, and mom got a pair of headphones! From there we walked to the Lindt outlet...we were just poking around and ended up at the back of the store. One of the employees asked if we wanted to try a drink...Lindt, drink? Dad got an Iced Chocolate...made with coffee truffles, mixed with milk and ice, and enjoy! He was in heaven! Mom and I got a milk chocolate one for each of us, and were thrilled! From there we walked some more, and ran into a nice old man with 2 west highland terrier pups! Well, 3 years old, but still! Dad talked to the guy a few times and inquired a bit about the upkeep and what not. I'm still trying to talk him into them after our puppy goes. <3 :D Once we finished at the outlets, we headed home. I unpacked my stuff from the camper to my car, and grabbed a few last minute things. I was on the road before I knew it! I got back to school, unpacked, and relaxed. I wasn't feeling great, but I dealt with it. I did some homework and went to bed :)

Yesterday, was my first day of classes this week. I went to Spanish, and wanted to die! I understand I have to learn how to speak it, but the way the professor goes about it is not fun! haha I dealt with it, did what I needed to, and went on with the day! My next class was Literature. This class I love! She's having us read 3 memoirs and do a lot of writing. That in and of itself is awesome! After that, I had my usual Tuesday/Thursday lunch with Katie and headed to health services. They gave me a prescription for an inhaler and sent me on my way. Thankfully I started to feel better! After health services I came back and took a nap. I didn't sleep too well after being up all night coughing. I was woken up from my nap by my phone ringing...it was John :) we talked about his day, and then I hung up to get ready for dinner. I went to dinner with Kayla, then we took a trip to Walgreens! I love that store. :) I got a few more meds and came back here. After ice cream, I took my inhaler and just chilled out for the night!

Today, I had my only class...World War II. I love the class already! I have the same professor I had my freshman year and am so excited for the semester. The homework is a bit heavy, but that's what I get for being in a 400 level class! Now, I am off to get ready for my third and final interview for Best Buy!!! Then I'm coming back to spend the night doing homework and hanging out with Ashley! This semester is going to be awesome! :)

First Day of Senior Year!

Wow....the last first day of undergrad! I really never thought this day would come so fast!

The morning started as any other would. I got out of bed, got changed, brushed my teeth, and freshened up. I headed over to the campus center for breakfast with Kayla. at 8:30 this morning it was so hot I was contemplating dying. Sure, it's a bit dramatic, but these things happen...when you're room is 68.5 degrees...all day long...but anyway!

After breakfast, I headed back to Burnell Hall, where my Spanish class is located. I walked into the classroom -- COMPLETE sauna. After sweating through the first five minutes of class, the professor proceeds to tell us that the book we ordered from the bookstore is WRONG, that it's missing a chapter, and that she will be in touch with us in what we should do...gotta love when things go haywire...this professor so much as made me get up (along with the rest of the class) and talk spanish to others...WHYYY?! it was so early...I was in no mood, and the people in class didn't seem warm and fuzzy...then, it was 10:45...time for my next class!

I moved my little legs as fast as they could go, and made it to my next class on time...or so I thought...I got to the Campus Center, and went to the classroom that was listed on my infobear account the night before. I sat down, asked if this class was the literature class..and they all said yes. Then, a guy came in, said he was Dr. so and so...and I panicked. I packed up my stuff and tried to quietly leave the class. My backpack proceeded to jump out and eat the wall...soo that wasnt so hot. THEN I went to find a computer...my classroom had been moved that morning to another location...across campus...I booked it from my current position to my class. I sweat like a bugger! I walked into the classroom and the professor goes, "Are you Kathryn?" I was so embarrased... "Yes.." 10 minutes later, 8 people walked in, all in the RCC with me...and said they should have left when I did...

I left class and grabbed lunch with Katie :) Crimson was delicious as always, and then headed back to my room to grab some stuff. I moved my car from a far away parking spot...and packed the car. Then, I was enroute home...I got home, unloaded the car, started laundry, and then John was here. We went out shopping for some clothes for school for him. After that, starbucks.

I just got in from running errands with mom, along with getting my hair cut. John & I have plans to head to Margarita's tonight and enjoy ourselves...seeing as I won't see him for QUITE some time after tonight :(

Day Before Classes Start...

This was supposed to be posted Tuesday night, but I never got around to posting it...so here's what happened Tuesday!

I was supposed to drop my minor, because if I keep it they won't let me graduate...and I never actually made it to west campus. It's been so hot, all I want to do is sit in my room and enjoy the A/C. I got myself all ready and prepped for John's mid-afternoon visit. It was the only thing I wanted to do because I miss him so much!

So, once I got myself all dressed, hair done, make-up done, and ready to go, he texted me to tell me he was waiting outside my building. I went running down the stairs and out the front door. I was so excited to see him! It was his first official day of school, and even though it was a half day, it was a lot crammed into one day. We drove all the way to Hunt Hall to be told that they weren't ticketing today so we didn't need a parking pass for his car. If only I was informed...

After coming back to my room to grab my purse, we headed off campus. We were both pretty dressed up, him in a shirt and tie, me in a cute dress. So we ended up going to the Longhorn Steakhouse in Raynham. I definitely recommend it, even though its a bit pricey. Both our meals were great! I was kind of sad when he told me he wanted to be on the road by 5:30. That crushed me a little. I hadn't seen him, hadn't talked to him much, and he wanted to be on the road 2 hours from when he had arrived. I was not a happy camper. Not to mention the fact that he was dead tired...I felt so bad.

John left, and I ended up taking another shower and working on some homework. Classes don't officially start till Thursday, but I wanted to get ahead of the game. I ended up taking a much needed smoothie break with Kayla, which ended up being us hanging out :) anything to get me out of homework ;) I went to bed pretty early considering I had an interview Wednesday.

_________

So that was Tuesday :) Here's today's!

I set my alarm for 7:20 so I could call John and talk to him before he went in for his first official normal day of school. That never happened. I never heard my alarm go off! When I woke up, it was 10:50, and I had an interview in Taunton at 1. This meant leaving here at 12, and getting there a little early. I got up, showered, and got dressed. Once my hair and make up were done, I was out the door. I got to my car, SWEATING, might I add, because I was in a long sleeve  dress shirt and dress pants. Go me.

I got to Best Buy at 12:45, and walked right in. I just needed to get myself in the building before I flipped out! I asked for the manager, and they directed me to his general direction. I got to him and he realized I was early. He asked for a minute to get things together, then lead me to the interview room. He was SUPER nice! I answered all the questions with the most thorough thought out answers, and was nothing but myself. They told me that I would hear from a manager either tonight or tomorrow if I had another interview. I haven't heard back, so here's hoping I hear back tomorrow!

Aside from bumming around I've done nothing too exciting. Just got some work done to keep myself busy while I get used to not talking to John all the time...once we get into a routine, things will be AWESOME! I think he mentioned something about a weekend away...I hope this works out! :) I miss him terribly :(

I can't believe I start my SENIOR year of COLLEGE tomorrow! AHHHH <3

Off to do more homework! Update tomorrow! <3

Exciting Day Number 1!!!

Today was such a great day!

I went to breakfast with Ari, who I haven't been able to really hang out with due to the fact that we were both so busy this summer! Breakfast was fun, ran into a few of my old residents, who are so damn sweet! Once I was done breakfast, I came back to the suite and did my hair. Heather, my suite mate, was so funny! She kept telling me that my hair was so pretty and that its so long! She's awesome :)

As is Ross, my other suite mate. I finally got a chance to talk to him today, for more than a few seconds. It's so nice to live with two awesome people! Not only did Ross and I get a chance to talk, we got a chance to share goofy stories about our pasts and what not. I finally learned what his and Heather's majors are! Only took me a few days :) Heather is a social work major, and Ross is a criminal justice major. I'm the only odd ball! Haha.

So after I finished my hair, I went out to pamper myself and get my nails done. I love getting my nails done down here because they are decently priced, have great customer service, and are just so good at what they do. I got a reddish color,  which is fun for the beginning of the school year.

So after that, I headed back to campus and chilled out in my room for a bit. My friend Ashley came by, a different Ashley than the friend I had over last night. This Ashley is a history major with me, and has always been one of my closest. We just caught up with what we've missed and hung around here.

Then, I did some homework. Woo, so exciting. But after that exciting event, I got to head over to Pope Hall and see Kayla's room! It's soooo much bigger than her room last year :) She's not living in a closet anymore! Top floor, BSB/NKOTB floor theme...its great! We headed over to Crimson, to grab something to eat, and ran into everyone and their cousin! Haha. It was so great to see so many people that I worked with last year, and old friends! This year is going to be pretty kick ass!!

After dinner, I showed Kayla my new room! She was pretty impressed, to say the least :) Livin large ;) After I walked Kayla out of East, I came back up here to call John! I haven't really been able to talk to him much, because he's getting ready for his first day of school tomorrow. After his first day, he's coming down to hang out and take me to dinner :) I can't wait to hear all about it!

For now, I'm off to finish watching Rizzoli & Isles, then I'm watching a movie. Early morning tomorrow! I'm gonna call John before he goes in to school :) Have a great night!! <3

Move In Day

After a long and tiring day, I'm all moved in to my suite! I would upload pictures, but I'm not exactly sure where I put my camera...

Anyway! My suite is awesome, as are my suite mates. I got pretty lucky after getting removed from my position this summer, and am thankful everyday for everything that's happened after it. I have my own room in a pretty decent sized suite. I'm the middle room in between my suite mates, which is okay. I finally, after 3 years of attending this school, have central air in my room! Pretty sweet trade off for being a senior, I'll say! I also get a bathroom and shower to share with my suite mates, which is cool, because its not 70 other people in my bathroom all at once! My room is so neatly organized and in order. I am hoping to keep it that way for the time being, with minimal additions throughout the year!

I picked up my books from the bookstore and am so pumped to start my last year! I'm hoping that by the end of Christmas break, I will have applied to a few graduate schools and be patiently waiting to hear back! This year is going to be one hell of a year, especially when I get myself into my books. I'm hoping for a few weekend trips away with my boyfriend, John, and maybe a few nights out. But I'm not looking to do too many, as I need to focus on my grades.

Tonight's activities include dinner with one of my bff's everrr ♥ Dinner and catching up with Ashley! I missed her :) When I get back, I will probably show her my room and hang out for a bit, but then head to bed. Tomorrow I have to drop off resumes and such to places in the area. I have an interview on Wednesday at Best Buy in Taunton, for a job until at least January. Hopefully if they like me, they would ask me to stay on.

Well, I'm off to get changed and ready for dinner! Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the new Blog!

Hey there!

Welcome to my new blog! This will take you from the first to the last day of my senior year of college! Some days I will not be able to update as much as I'd like, but I will try to make it as current as possible.

As of right now, I am currently finishing my last week at work, which, if you don't know, is at a local movie theatre here in town. Wednesday is my last shift :)

I move into school next Sunday, and can't wait! Check back once I get moved in for more fun and exciting events! :) ♥
