Dave & Busters was cut rather short last night. By the time we got there, it was 1215ish and we were lost. We had to walk around the mall itself and then try to find an open door...what a trip! By the time we got into the mall and up to Dave & Busters, it was 1240ish...
John went up to the bartender and asked if they were still serving...they were no longer serving food, but they were serving booze. SCORE! We had a drink and just enjoyed each other's company. Even though we saw each other last week, it felt like we hadn't seen each other in a long time. We finished up our drinks and headed back to my room. After about a half hour, we passed out...
Today, we just hung around. Once we realized it was 2 o'clock this afternoon, we kind of panicked...We had to leave! I packed up my stuff and tried to do so in a quick manner. We got to our cars & decided we wanted to stop at Dunkin's. I got my cider, John his coffee. I let John try the cider...and I swear his eyes rolled in the back of his head! :)
We parted ways after getting gas. We got home at about the same time. I'm looking to hang out with Kelly tonight, who I haven't seen since Memorial Day...and head up to Hampton. Maybe grab some beach pizza :) I'll come home and head to bed. Church in the morning then dinner & Donna's wake...
Chuck Daily:
"The unreal is more powerful than the real. Because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on. If you can change the way people think. The way they see themselves. The way they see the world. You can change the way people live their lives. That's the only lasting thing you can create."
